Here is Dayton playing with one of his favorite cousins Nathan Kingston. Nathan brought the hats, Dayton provided the horses, and Kennedy went along for the ride. What a cute bunch!
The last weekend of September, we took the kids to the circus. Frank and I both have fond memories of the circus as children, and wanted our kids to have the opportunity of experiencing it themselves, rather than just watching 'Dumbo'. The kids enjoyed it all, especially the clowns (the adults would rather wish they remembered more of the exciting thrills, but hey, their kids right--simple amusement is always a thriller for them!)
Kennedy hardly finished her cotton candy she was so awestruck!
We went with Kendra's mom, brother Sterling, his wife Christy, and their two children Jaden and Memphis. We all had a great time.
Kennedy got a kick out of wearting the clown hat that came with the cotton candy.
This last Monday for FHE we took the kids up Blacksmith Fork Canyon to the Hyrum State Park to get outdoors and up the canyon one last time before the snow comes. We took dinner, let the kids play on the playground, and explored the river together. It was so much fun!
Does anyone else get crazy poses from their kids when you say: "Hey kids, look at Mommy, we're going to take a picture."? The kids are on a little bridge that goes over a little stream through the park.

Frank was showing the kids where fish like to hide in the river. They were mostly interested in finding various objects to throw into the river like big rocks and sticks.
"Hey Dad, can I throw this stick into the water?"--Kennedy always likes to do what her big brothers do, and found the biggest stick to toss!
This is just one of the gorgeous views of the mountains from the park. Don't we live in such a beautiful world?
Dayton and Kennedy have really been having a hard time sleeping lately. Their naps have been getting shorter, and they are usually in bed with us, or us in their beds 2-3 times a night! Pierce has had pretty active days with the nice weather the last couple of weeks--lots of play outside at school and with friends after. So, needless to say, after the BYU vs. USU game Friday night, everyone was a little bit tired! How do they sleep so topsy-turvy?

ok, so my camera, i have 2, one is a fugi film and the other is a kodak. niether are that great. in fact the kodak broke and the fugi does bad in soft light. i would get a nikon, that is what the pros use, but a cheeper one...sorry i am not more help. also, i use photoshop to edit and that makes a big difference with how my pics look! educators can get photoshop elements for like 70 bucks, it is so worth it!

What do you mean kids?! My husband is just as bad! You should see some of his poses...maybe he just never outgrew the silly phase.
