We went to the doctor this week and found out we are having a baby girl! The boys came with us, and it was funny how things played out. The technician was trying to get an image of the baby's face, and the baby kept her hand in the way. Pierce said that "it might be a girl, because some girls are shy." The tech then responded that Pierce was right, and it was indeed a baby sister! Dayton's response was "Just what we wanted!" That was something of a surprise since he has been saying all along that he wanted a brother, but we were happy to hear that he was excited to be getting a sister.
Now we're just working on the name. We've had some ideas, but now we seem to be thinking of Lydia or Mya (the spelling of Mya will still need to be worked out). Anyway, we're excited to have another little girl coming, and for Kennedy to have a sister!
